This is the question that really makes my brain vomit. Forget about all that what is the meaning of life crap, this to me is the biggest ever question:

What is beyond the universe? It's so unbelievable that the universe is infinitive, I just don't believe that it could go on forever, there must be something ELSE after that.
If the universe was infinitve wouldn't that mean that it was.. like a circle a globe maybe ...wouldn't there be an edge of this globe!?
According to scientists the universe is ever-expanding... but if it's expanding.. what is it expanding into!??!?
There HAS to be something, even if it is just a huge void or something like that. Ok so like solar systems or galaxies.. there might be more universes.... BUT THEN WHAT!??

omg I could think about it for a whole day if I wanted to. It seriously messes my brain up. All I can think is that we all once thought the world was flat......

heres sumthing to think bout...

even if there was noting after life...isnt that nothing still a somthing ...because its there... so if u hink bout it its impossable for there to be nothing after life...because...nothing is tecnically somthing...be it darkness or whatever...its still there...

Hah, I like this. Sometimes I wish we all still thought the world was flat. It would make everything a lot easier.

and its an interesting thought, but as far as I know the universe is everexpanding as the popular theory goes. But if there are other universe's, then that would mean that there should technically be other realities.

If thats so, then one has to consider how that is possible. Is it possible through the different fluctuations that can take place on the time line? Even though, everything is ever changing and moving froward, is it possible that other realities exist if something else has occurred in time and space? then the number would be infinite, because running the course of time which is practically trillions of years old by now the number of different realities would be just as abundant as how much the human mind can imagine, but ten times fold because it wouldn't just be the soul perspective but the whole perspective of the human race which has the ability to perceive and think, then again consider other sentient beings in the universe.

but enough of the concept that reality exists by the ability to perceive it, even though it is an interesting thought. :p

Other realities can also exist souly upon the ability to perceive it. IE, other dimensions. We perceive in four different dimensions, and mind you we are limited in our state to understand the other dimensions. But according to physics, the number of different dimensions are just as abundant as the number of different perceptions that collect on the human whole.

THEN there is also your school of thought, if the universe is ever expanding. What is it expanding into, remember though how the universe began. Through the implosion of a gigantic star, in the process of fusion matter was born and scattered throughout the known universe, in your train of thought and according to the scientists who are doing the math behind this reasoning, that matter is still to this day and time since the begining moving outwards. We just don't know how large it will continue to go. Remember though, that initial star was huge. So what it left behind in its aftermath created every single galaxy like a tiny star, so eithor space is being created for what is still being created, or something is disappearing to fill in that space. ie; the cells of the human body die off for newer cells.

My point is, we just don't know for sure. All we can do is to do the math, and guess. Then when we find out something, we can change what we already know.

Personally, I like to believe that everything exists and continues to exist purely in the thought of a greater being. Basically, in a very different way I believe in a God.

A lot of people believe God to be a person, or have a personified appearence. I believe God to be the root perspective, and that we all exist in that soul perspective, but because energy is ever growing and expanding in all forms, the only way I can see God existing is as a primitive thought that was implanted in our minds in a very primitive time of our being. But God itself is not just a human perspective, what is he and what is his understanding to other sentient beings that have existed for much longer then human beings?

. . . . . . . .

wow,
I think too much, :XD:

a popular idea is that the universe is finite but doesn't have any boundaries. which basically says that if you kept flying for long enough in a straight line you'll end up where you started.

the picture's really nice, though.
