This my entry for the Hp-Art-Project, it's for the quidditch world cup chapter in the GoF (if you couldn't tell
 ) This has taken me 36 hoursish so far. It's ALMOST finished, Im basically trying to touch it up and finish it off. I inspired the feel and atmosphere from football matches (soccer), I reckon I should add a few screamers in there. Im a little worried that the crowd don't look magical enough. although I kinda like the idea of everything seeming normalish and what the omnioculars are seeing being the biggest hint to magic haha. I reckon Harry needs a little more expression possibly.. Also Im wondering if the omniocular lenses are not detailed enough. I made the drawings of the quidditch player kinda vague because it's supposed to be a reflection, HOWEVER im not too sure if it works. Please let me know if this sticks out to you like a sore thumb? Let me know about the whole image aswell, if theres anything that is particularly shite... or even if the whole image is shite haha go for it. EDIT: I've changed it the crowd a bit and also harry's mouth. I noticed that on my PC computer screen the picture is HIDEOUSLY dark.. in fact the sky is supposed to be blue, but on the PC it looked black! Not to mention heavily saturated. Im not sure how to deal with this problem, does anyone know anything about it? |

About the omniocular... I don't know, it seems fine to me :/ (sorry I'm not very good at criticism ): )
But the composition is nice, you can really feel the atmosphere : )

it looks quite amazing to me
though if I where you I would add some more different expressions in the crowd.There just seems to be too many people with the same D8 expression.
the sky also, looks quite just plain black. I would at least add some highlights to some clouds or something around the moon. just to add just a little more interest.
when I first looked at this, my eye followed Harry's scarf all the way to the top, and that actually was the first thing that came to mind.
Feel free to completely ignore me though if you wish

The omnioculars look good, though the perspective does seem slightly wonky. It could just be me, but I feel like his face is too straight-on to be looking through the omnioculars, which are more in profile. Like he's sort of tilting them off to the side.
...You know actually, now that I look at it, I think it's just that his mouth is not really in perspective––it's facing the viewer straight-on while the rest of Harry's head is turning. That's all it is.
